A bottle warmer is in contact with milk every day, and milk is a good breeding ground. Residues of milk or limescale encourage bacteria and shorten the life of the device. So this category holds everything that keeps the BebeWarm clean, safe and ready to use for a long time.

Everyday care has three rhythms. After each use, the inner bottle is cleaned with a soft sponge or a soft bottle brush, never with anything scratchy, plus a drop of mild washing-up liquid; then rinse with clear water. The lid is taken apart, the silicone seals come out one by one and are washed by hand; hot dishwasher cycles warp the plastic. In the evening the sterilising mode with 300 millilitres of water is a good habit, and every few weeks descaling is added.

Boiling out differs by model. The BebeWarm V2 does it itself once you set it to 100 degrees. With the V1 you boil water separately and pour it into the bottle.

One detail that is easy to miss and causes drips: the seals have to go back in correctly once they are dry.

Then there are the questions that come up in daily use: what may go in the dishwasher and what may not, how often to sterilise, and how you notice that descaling is due.
